Dennis East is no stranger to South African music and he is back
with his best album yet, Take My Heart - A Tribute to Classic
South African Ballads. This timeless album contains hits from the
Springbok Hit Parade dating back from 1965 to 1982 by artists like
Gene Rockwell, The Flames, Crocodile Harris Copperfield,
Neil Herbert and more. The Durban born artist had this to say about
the project: "Throughout my singing career I have been fortunate to
work with a number of great South African performers, many of whom
recorded the original versions of the songs on this album." The public will remember Dennis for his hits like A Million Drums, A Rose Must Die, Dammit I Love You and his involvement with the super group Stingray who had a UK chart hit with their song Better The Devil You Know, to name but a few of his successes.
